
Perla del Garda
Di generazione in generazione, la passione per la terra e i suoi frutti ha dato vita a una vicenda fatta di persone e di genuina semplicità, da sempre ispirata alle migliori tradizioni enologiche made in Italy. Un'esperienza secolare, quindi, che nel 2000 ha visto nascere Perla del Garda e la sua ambiziosa idea: riportare le vigne sulle colline moreniche di proprietà, sassose e povere d'acqua ma forti di un'antica vocazione vitivinicola testimoniata anche da stampe e mappe catastali.
Così, tra Desenzano e Sirmione, 30 ettari di vigneti sono tornati alla vita, curati con un filosofia attenta ad ogni particolare, dalla scelta delle barbatelle al numero di piante per ettaro sino al sistema di allevamento più adatto per ogni vite. Qui regna un principio: il vino si comincia a fare in vigna, rispondendo senza schemi fissi alle congiunture climatiche dell'annata e svolgendo la vendemmia esclusivamente a mano, selezionando i grappoli e riponendoli in piccole cassette che vengono al più presto portate al centro della vigna, nella cantina a tre livelli, ideale per favorire la cosiddetta vinificazione a caduta. Come funziona il tutto? Dopo un'ulteriore selezione dei grappoli si esegue la pressatura soffice sottovuoto delle uve bianche e alla diraspatura di quelle rosse. Gli acini per i vini rossi e il mosto fiore per i bianchi riempiono a caduta i serbatoi in acciaio situati al piano inferiore, dove si svolge la fermentazione a temperatura controllata. Quando il vino ha raggiunto il risultato auspicato passa per l'affinamento nei serbatoi in acciaio e nelle botti di legno del piano interrato. Le bollicine vengono create con metodo classico e la rifermentazione avviene esclusivamente in bottiglie di vetro formato magnum. Così, da viti Trebbiano di Lugana, Sauvignon, Riesling, Chardonnay e Incrocio Manzoni per i bianchi, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon e Rebo per i rossi, nasce la prestigiosa gamma firmata Perla del Garda, vini bianchi, rossi, rosè, dolci e spumanti resi ancora più unici dall'inconsueta eleganza delle bottiglie: Perla, Madre Perla, Madonna della Scoperta, Lugana Millesimato, Settimo Cielo, Rose delle Siepi, Terre Lunari, Leonatus, Lugana Vendemmia Tardiva, Drajibo e, in primo piano, l'eccellente Chardonnay Millesimato affinato almeno 60 mesi sui lieviti.
Da sempre molto attenta ai temi della sensibilità ambientale, Perla del Garda tutela il territorio e i vigneti e vanta infrastrutture e processi rispettosi dei principi di sostenibilità riconosciuti a livello internazionale. Riconosciuta nel 2013 con il premio Ecofriendly della Guida Vini Buoni d'Italia insieme a Verallia, ha fatto della sua cantina, dotata di una sala da degustazione con mostra di moto e scooter d'epoca, un luogo di ricerca e incontro per scuole e associazioni di wine lovers nonché di accoglienza e lavoro per persone con disabilità o inserite in programmi di sostegno sociale.
