L'olio di oliva fonte di benessere
L’olio extra vergine d’oliva rappresenta un ottimo rimedio naturale per la cura della pelle secca, delicata e bisognosa di idratazione, ma è benefico anche per tutti i tipi di pelle.

Dal punto di vista della composizione il segreto dell’olio di oliva è la cosiddetta frazione insaponificabile, ricca di sostanze come la vitamina E, che protegge la pelle dall'invecchiamento, evita il formarsi di smagliature, controlla la produzione della melanina e previene la creazione delle macchie senili.
L’olio inoltre contiene inoltre i carotenoidi, che dopo l'assorbimento vengono trasformati in retinolo, un vero nemico dei radicali liberi.Infine l'olio d'oliva contiene anche lo squalene, un idrocarburo presente anche nelle secrezioni sebacee degli esseri umani. Questo gli permette di penetrare negli strati più profondi della pelle e di riformare il filo idrolipidico, indebolito dai raggi solari e dai detergenti.
